I am constantly redoing pieces for local shops to help bring in some extra income. Today, I thought I would show you one that I just finished. This little buffet has undergone quite a transformation.

Before

This buffet was worn out! The top especially had seen better days, but with all the great details I could see some real potential.

Michael did some repairs, then I sanded and restained the top.

I used Annie Sloan chalk paint in Coco on the main body of the buffet. For interest I hand painted a leaf design combined with a Moroccan motif in contrasting white.

Next, I used left over stain to antique certain areas I wanted to draw attention to. To give this buffet a more updated look, I also replaced the old knobs with these cute ceramic ones, and gave them better placement.

I had a lot of fun turning this boring buffet into a very unique piece and I hope it finds a good home soon.
