I realized I haven’t updated you all with the current status of Camdyn’s play farmhouse in awhile.

Cami Grace has been working very hard (with a little help from Mommy & Daddy) to get her new house fixed up.

Starting with a good cleaning!

Next we gave the exterior a coat of white paint.

The entire interior (walls, ceiling & even the door ) were the most obnoxious shade of  lime green. For the new look we are using leftover paint from Camdyn’s vintage nursery makeover.

So far, three coats of white on the ceiling, as well as three coats of pale-coral on the walls have yet to cover the lime completely. I am working on something special for the back wall.

I see this mini farmhouse as an investment into both Camdyn’s and Avonlee’s futures. I know they will spend countless hours playing “mommy” together in their little house on the Kansas prairie.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but we are having fun fixing up this mini farmhouse together.

P.S. The winner of the “Name Our First Bryarton Born Animal” contest is Kristen. We are proud to introduce to you Bennet! It was a tough choice between all the Jane Austen inspired names that were submitted. Thanks to everyone who participated!
