If you don’t follow me on instagram you might not know why the blog has been so neglected. Like a family of squirrels preparing for the coming winter we have been working nonstop to get siding patched and painted, windows restored, and gut more areas to pave the way for the structural repair team coming in mid-November. We have been asked the question over and over: “Why don’t you have a kitchen yet?”
The only real way to answer that question is to tell you the story of what has happened. Our inexperience, financial issues, noncommittal contractors, exhaustion, and an ever-expanding list of required repairs that have to be done before the kitchen can be installed have all played a role in our never-ending kitchen saga.
