The chickens aren’t little anymore! They are fully feathered just in time for the cool weather. Although we don’t have eggs yet these cuties are really starting to show their different personalities. One young rooster is starting to practice his amateur crowing, which sounds a bit like a cat being strangled. (more…)

Even though the chicks are only about a week old and are in a box in our living room we are already working on their next residence. Our farm came with a few existing chicken real-estate options, but as we started to clean them out we discovered some problems. (more…)
